Our NSS is very active and organizes lectures, events sensitizing our students to the values that the NSS perpetuates globally. Every year our students participate in the Geneva competition organized by the University of Madras. Tree planting, organizing rallies for spreading messages and field work are some of the programmes that cover our yearly itinerary. We have a very able NSS Coordinator is Dr. Sakthipriya, Assistant Professor of Economics.

REPORT ON REGULAR ACTIVITIES
The NSS aims in developing the inner potentialities and transforming the students mentally to fit into the society to which he/she belongs. Regular activities and Special NSS camps are being organized by our NSS Unit, organizing different educational, social, developmental programs in the college. Besides regular activities of cleanliness and tree plantation in the campus the unit has also engaged in social and community works in the adopted Village Kooram, in Kanchipuram. ACTIVITIES The NSS activities undertaken from June 2018 to March 2019 are as under:
• Total 100 students from all the departments have been enrolled as NSS volunteers for the 2018-19 session.
• NSS volunteers engaged themselves in cleanliness in and around the college premises, canteen and college garden.
• About 60 plants were planted in the college premises.

I SWACHH BHARAT MISSION PROGRAM (1-15 September 2019)
Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan is an initiative started by government of India to make the country completely clean of any mess or littering, thereby making every nook and corner of the nation clean and tidy. Under "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan", the government has promised "Total Sanitation" by 2019, which means every household in India will have a toilet by the targeted deadline. The objective of the camp was to spread awareness and evoke sensitivity to virtues of sanitation and Cleanliness, and help the Government in successfully achieving the initiative of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Our volunteers organized “Swachhta Pakhwada” under the banner of NSS During 1ST to -15th September 2018 for spreading the message of cleanliness not only among the students but also in the surrounding areas.
